We know that the quality of your prescription glasses impacts how you ultimately experience the world. Frames and lenses may all look similar, but the craftsmanship and quality of those products can vary drastically. It is too important for us and our patients to deliver only the highest quality lenses and frames to make your prescription glasses.
At EyeCare for You, we carry a wide variety of glasses frames, from the popular designers you love, to the unique independent innovators for that one-of-a kind look.
Here is a list of just some of the designer and extraordinary frames we have in stock:

Getting the Right Lenses Matters
Your prescription glasses are only as good as your lenses and not all lenses are made equally. We offer a wide variety of state-of-the-art lens options for optimal clarity and comfort to help meet your lifestyle needs. We also provide different lens materials, like shatter-resistant polycarbonate, as well as various lens coatings, such as scratch resistance and UV-blocking.
Multi-Focal Progressive Lenses
Multi-focal progressive lenses can be difficult for patients to adjust to, especially if you’re a new progressive wearer. At EyeCare for You, we recommend the Shamir Autograph III™ progressive lens. This lens has a wide viewing corridor that reduces peripheral distortion often associated with lesser-quality progressive lenses. The Shamir Autograph III™ has been designed with comfort in mind and we have found it to be the easiest for first-time progressive wearers to adapt to.
Computer Glasses
With the rise in digital device and computer use, so has the incidence of dry eye and eye fatigue associated with viewing screens gone up. If you work behind a computer all day, you may have experienced this fatigue at the end of the day. Special prescription glasses have been developed to help combat this particular version of eye strain. We recommend the Shamir Relax™ lens that provides a slight bump in prescription towards the bottom of the lens to help the eyes relax when viewing computer screens and devices. At the end of the day, your eyes will thank you!
Prescription Glasses Coatings
At EyeCare for You, we provide a variety of lens coatings that can protect your eyes from harmful UV and blue light, as well as, prolong the life of your lenses. Prescription glasses wearers can often see glare or reflections coming off their lenses, which can be especially hazardous at night. Anti-reflective coatings help eliminate the glare and reflections allowing you to see more clearly. Anti-scratch coatings are also available to help protect your prescription glasses.
Included in many anti-reflective coatings is a ultraviolet (UV) and blue light blocker. UV light can damage the delicate tissues of the eye and is known to contribute to many eye diseases and cancers associated with the eyes. We believe this coating is so important for our patients’ ocular health, that we recommend it on all prescription glasses.
Blue light, although not as damaging as UV light, can cause various health problems if exposed to too much. Blue light exposure has been linked to blurry vision, increased risk of eye disease, dry and irritated eyes, headaches, difficulty sleeping, and even neck and back pain. The screens from electronics are one of the biggest producers of blue light in our society. We recommend a blue light reflective coating for all our patients, especially for those who work with computers and children in school.
Transitions® - Light Adaptive Lenses
All of our prescription glasses can be made with light adaptive lenses that are clear inside and darken as you are exposed to brighter light outside. Transitions lenses come in up to three different colors - grey, brown, and green. These lenses are a great option for those with who don’t want prescription sunglasses, but want protection from the sun. Transitions lenses also provide additional blue light protection over standard lenses.
